sorry i am running today and have little time to write. THERE ARE SO MANY THINGS THAT ARE HAPPENING AND I WISH I COULD WRITE THEM ALL FOR YOU. Not really sure why i wrote the above in all caps, but it is the truth. and it is also the truth that i just dont have time to tell you anything.
Like walking through the protests, or a 16 year old orphan we are teaching, or my favorite little puppy named moo, or the fact that i ate cow liver this week, or or or...the list could go on and on.
My comp, sister chaves (chaves means keys in portugues) will be leaving me stranded here in 7 lagoas on wednesday as she will be going back to her land. wow my english is getting real bad. anyways, we are running around doing the last minute things until she leaves. (you know like exploring a cave and plucking our eyebrows).
She is the first and the last i will kill here on the mission (the next group of sisters is ME) and we have had a few moments this past week of sitting on the side of the road, crying together. More about the fact that these 18 months just fly by and then real life hits you in the face. Its a scary world out there and i am not excited about returning to it for one moment.
Also, umm yeah. killing the keys would mean that she should be dying right? Unfortunately sister mad is super klutzy and has fallen a few times this week and is having issues with my knees. Its a blessing because it has made for good humor. Just yesterday i fell through a hole in the sidewalk.
...and that is a third world country for you.
i love this third world country. bah.
love you all!
sister mad
p.s. sister mad is training the new sister trainer, and we recieve a marvelous batch of 6 newbies wednesday! Pray all goes well and that my knees can handle it?
p.s.s. mom do not email president asking if my knees are okay.
